I am drawn to storytelling because of the endless opportunities it creates for studying human nature, because of its potential to create order in our chaos and to point us to our inner worlds and our behaviour. The process of creation is as fascinating to me as the result because storytelling is also about the storytellers. The investment of our attention, care and energy in a project becomes its fuel. 

I’m Interested in the state of play, the flow of improvisation & creation not conditioned by thought.

I am continuously exploring how we can access it, especially in performance.  What is the work we need to do or undo? 

In filmmaking I often lead by intuition & prefer to allow the work to breathe in order to maintain clarity & objectivity. I’m excited to collaborate with people who share the innate urge to study human behaviour, including that of their own and I’m passionate about the natural world around us. I enjoy performance art that makes good use of movement, physical language & music and I'm interested in interdisciplinary productions that explore the line on which filmmaking and theatre collide. I love to see the world & aspire to work internationally.
